Why The NuPhy Air75 V2 Makes Typing Feel Effortless & Addictive
Most traditional mechanical keyboards are thick, chunky bricks that force your wrists upward at awkward angles, requiring bulky gel wrist rests to prevent tendon strain. The NuPhy Air75 V2 reimagines mechanical typing in an ultra-slim, low-profile aluminum unibody that measures barely 16mm thick.
Featuring hot-swappable Gateron low-profile switches, custom acoustic silicone sound-dampening pads that eliminate hollow plastic echoes, and vibrant RGB side lighting, it produces a deeply satisfying, creamy 'thock' with every keystroke. Best of all, its rubberized bottom feet are sculpted to sit directly on top of your MacBook keyboard without pressing the laptop keys underneath.
The NuPhy Air75 V2 is an ultra-slim 75% wireless mechanical keyboard designed for Mac and Windows. Featuring hot-swappable low-profile switches, tri-mode wireless (2.4GHz 1000Hz, Bluetooth 5.1, USB-C), QMK/VIA key remapping, and a built-in MacBook keyboard bridge, it delivers luxury acoustic typing in a portable travel profile.
🔬 Hands-On Testing: Low-Profile Switches, QMK/VIA Remapping & MacBook Bridge
- ✓Ultra-Slim 16mm Low-Profile Profile: Keeps your wrists completely flat against your desk, eliminating ergonomic wrist fatigue without requiring a bulky wrist rest.
- ✓MacBook Keyboard Bridge Compatibility: Custom bottom rubber feet slot perfectly between your MacBook's keys, letting you type on the NuPhy directly over your laptop.
- ✓Tri-Mode Connectivity with 1000Hz Polling: Toggle instantly between 1000Hz lag-free 2.4GHz wireless for gaming, Bluetooth 5.1 for 3 devices, or wired USB-C.
- ✓Acoustic Silicone Sound Dampening: Layered internal Poron foam and IXPE switch pads transform clicky clatter into a muted, creamy, premium acoustic 'thock'.
- ✓Open-Source QMK/VIA Programmability: Remap any key, create multi-key macros, and customize shortcuts using the intuitive open-source web-based VIA tool.
⚖️ Curator's Honest Pros & Considerations
- ✓What We Love: Incredible creamy acoustic typing feel, ultra-slim ergonomic height, slots directly over MacBook keyboards, and QMK/VIA support.
- ✓Things to Keep in Mind: Low-profile keycaps use specialized low-profile switch stems, meaning standard tall cherry-profile aftermarket keycap sets will not fit.
