Why The CUCKOO Twin Pressure Cooker Makes Every Grain Taste Like Gourmet Perfection
Anyone who thinks all rice cookers produce the same soggy or dried-out rice has never experienced Korean induction pressure engineering. The CUCKOO Twin Pressure Cooker (CRP-ST0609FW) is a culinary masterpiece. What makes it unique is its dual-pressure selector: turn the lid dial to High Pressure (2.0 bar) to cook dense, sticky sushi rice and nutrient-rich GABA brown rice; or switch to Non-Pressure induction heating for fluffy, separated grains of Jasmine rice and porridge.
Equipped with a curved, scratch-resistant stainless steel inner pot with X-Wall non-stick coating and voice navigation guidance, it cooks rice with the exact texture and sweetness found in Michelin-starred Asian restaurants.
The CUCKOO Twin Pressure Rice Cooker features revolutionary Dual-Pressure selection (High Pressure vs Non-Pressure Inductive Heating) for 12 cups of cooked rice. With 14 versatile culinary presets including GABA rice, sticky rice, and steam baby food, an X-Wall non-stick pot, and smart voice guide, it represents the gold standard of Asian kitchen engineering.
🔬 Hands-On Testing: High-Pressure vs Non-Pressure, GABA Rice & Stainless Pot
- ✓Twin Pressure Cooking Versatility: High Pressure (2.0 bar) drives heat into the grain core for chewy sticky rice; Non-Pressure cooks tender, fluffy grain-separated Jasmine rice.
- ✓GABA Rice Activation: Sprouts brown rice grains at calibrated low temperatures before pressure cooking, maximizing gamma-aminobutyric acid nutrients and natural sweetness.
- ✓Scratch-Resistant X-Wall Stainless Pot: Heavyweight 304 stainless steel inner pot with diamond-tough non-stick coating distributes heat evenly and wipes clean in seconds.
- ✓Smart Multi-Language Voice Navigation: Friendly voice prompts guide you through settings and announce when cooking is complete in English, Korean, or Chinese.
- ✓Auto-Clean Steam Sterilization: Dedicated steam auto-clean program purges valves and sterilizes the inner lid with high-pressure boiling steam.
⚖️ Curator's Honest Pros & Considerations
- ✓What We Love: Unbeatable rice texture and sweetness, dual pressure cooking flexibility, heavy-duty stainless pot, and automatic steam sterilization.
- ✓Things to Keep in Mind: The 12-cup cooked capacity is perfect for families, but requires about 15 inches of counter depth.
